Mick foleys
Tietam Brown
Well, I’ll simply say for a story that foley himself points out as rewritten and polished and written some more it’s wonderfully rough and visceral.
The levels of violence and the pace in which these rages are expressed just carry you from page to page these maelstroms providing momentum that carrys the lulls of romantic story of flabouyant teenage love. The love and violence present throughout is demanding in the readers sphere of comprehension but the pattern built and expressed by the young tietam makes the final betrayal all so much more readible even in it’s horrific description
Of course it all ends in tragedy with a glimmer of hope but it is what we want and expect by the end. Tietam brown IV is a vile charisma oozing character that not just takes his son and the Many women in his life for a ride but also the reader in his turn for redemption, executed well by foley the juxtaposition of physical love almost achieved for Antietam is also the fullfilled emotional provided by holly. The failed acts of both affecting each in the same way. The cunning and rage personified but at odds with each other.
