



Hey there long time no tips, talk or review
I’m back an in my boredom tonight I was playing around with my new precision screwdriver set. Having to buy a new set after stripping out my heads recovering a bunch of faulty seagate drives.
I noticed when taking apart drives that there’s some useful bits and pieces you can salvage. Normally I just toss them if I’m placing the plates into a new casing the heads being useless after wards. But are they
- How to make a keyholder:
Pic (a) shows the magnet attached to the drive arm this normally with the carve running through the copper coils helps the positioning of the read head and as you can see in pic (b) there are some screw points letting you easily mount this magnet to a board the curved head a perfect match as you can see in pic (c) for a loop in my keychain.
- Bottle opener for the desperate alcaholic
The drive arm itself as you can see in pic (d) has the typical bottle opening head not the perfect tool the copper is soft enough to bend from regular use
